A zoo of apps → your company's operating system
Why a Company OS
The MetaHub manifesto: why we are building an operating system for companies — not yet another task tracker.
The problem is not the apps. The problem is the seams
A modern company runs on a dozen good apps: a messenger, a tracker, a CRM, spreadsheets, a drive, accounting. Each is great on its own. Together they are a zoo.
Data about one client lives in four copies. Reports are assembled by hand. Integrations break silently, and you find out at the end of the month. The more tools you add, the more time goes not into work, but into moving work between tools.
What we mean by an “operating system”
An operating system has a kernel, applications and a shared file system. Applications don't mail data to each other — they operate on shared state.
MetaHub is built the same way. The kernel is the records about clients, people, documents and money, plus a single access-rights model. The apps — tasks, finance, CRM, support — operate on that kernel. Adding an app doesn't mean starting a new database and a new login.
That is why a client, a project, a contract, an invoice and a contractor payout are one chain of records — not five exports.
AI-first: agents as users
We don't bolt on a “magic button”. We build a platform where an AI agent is a full user: it has access rights, tools and an action log.
The agent sees exactly what it is allowed to see — the limits live at the database level. It acts through the same mechanisms a person does: creates tasks, finds documents, drafts invoices. And every action lands in the audit log.
That is the difference between a chat on the side and an operating system where both people and agents work.
Honesty instead of painted-on logos
We are in early access and we don't pretend to be an enterprise platform with a thousand customers. Instead of invented testimonials we show the platform tree: what works, what's in progress, what's planned.
“Live” means: we use it ourselves every day, because we build MetaHub in MetaHub.
Your data is yours
Export is always available. And for companies that need full control, we are preparing a self-host delivery: the same platform on your servers, under your domain.
Data sovereignty is not a premium feature — it is a property of the architecture.
Who this is for
Any company with a team that wants to see its work and its money in one system: service and product teams, commerce, customer support, rental businesses, agencies.
It starts as one team workspace. It grows into the company's operating system.
